My dad had a puppyy

A few weeks ago my dad's co-worker had to go on a trip abroad. He went to leave his weiner dog and her baby daughter at a kennel but the puppy was too young to be left there.

So my dad volunteered to take care of her for a few weeks just until his co-worker got back from his trip.

Now, my dad was never fond of having a pet in his house. His work is a bit demanding so he'd usually say he wouldn't have enough time to take care of a dog properly. And he would feel bad leaving them alone in the house for a long time. 

Me and my brother had suggested getting a cat or some other animal. He's not exactly fond of cats since he thinks that they're not really affectionate. He used to say he's happy enough having the chickens to take care of in his field.

But when this 2month baby wiener dog came. This guy turned into a completely different man that I've never seen before. He brought her everywhere he went. To work, with clients, at the beach, at the feild, the store. EVERYWHERE. hehe u should see him with this pouch strapped to his chest with this tiny dog in it.

I think he was obsessed. He was so proud when he managed to teach her how to pee outside. She was pretty quiet which was something he liked. She was so short she could barely go up stairs, and she would climb up your chest to lick your face. This little puppy followed him everywhere he went.

I had never seen my dad have so much fun with a puppy. It was adorable. He would send me pictures of her in the morning sitting on his office chair, or hiding in the wires. 

My dad's friend came over, the first thing he told me "you're dad is a completely different person with the puppy" and I couldn't agree more. 

This man thought her how to swim somehow. this short ass puppy. She enjoyed it apparently tho. He was so happy at every little achievement.

Not only that, this puppy got so many attention from strangers. kids would take turns petting her, and she would crawl around strangers at the beach as they adore and pet her. her cuteness was unstoppable. 

Anyways I went to my dad's the other day and the puppy wasn't there :C. Turns out his co-worker came back and my dad returned her.

Now my dad seems... less emotional. I mean he was used to be like that but now its just more evident. Everything feels sadder and I feel bad. Idk if he'll want to buy her, cuz his co-worked suggested it I think. I just hope he at least finds something new he can be happy about.
