I love music in general.
It can control your mood, uplifting you when your down. comforting you when your sad with more sad songs. getting you excited and in the 'zone' for a moment of high adrenaline. It's a really powerful tool, even if were not talking about the frequencies or the how it triggers your brain.
But it's also an art form, a form of human creativity. You hear the work of someone everyday on the radio, regardless if they are an 'industry plant', doing it for fun, or pouring their entire soul into it. And it's just a deep art form that requires so much, yet so little thought? how can I use this solo to impact the listeners? how can this simple line make the audience ball their eyes out or scream to the top of their lungs?
It takes so much thought, but you could also just write how you feel, put a melody and share it with the world. And it is honestly a form of poetry, and despite a lot of people hating poetry, they don't realize what they are listening to everyday.
But not only is a beautiful art form, it's a form of connection. Which is why I love concerts so much. Small or big, doesn't matter. Your in a room, stadium, arena, where ever with people that have a common interest! and most times people are to busy having fun to judge who is a poser or who is doing what. The atmosphere is always so fun, and the artist is often curating that.
Also, sometimes music sounds better live. You can hear the emotion and talent in person and it's mesmerizing. The people singing along and having fun feeds into that experience.
But yep! That how I feel about music and concert

really well said! I don't have an opportunity to see my most favorite artists live but all the concerts I've been on still were a magical experience. even if I didn't know all the songs I still felt people's passion and that really gave me energy that lasted days on. also - if it's appropriate with the show - it's a chance to express yourself in a way that usually isn't acceptable. jumping, jiggling, screaming the lyrics along with the community that shares an experience with you.
