Okay so I know that I said I'm gonna start hinting to my friend that I like her, but I genuinely don't know how. I've never flirted with anyone before, except for like fake flirting with my friends but that's like obviously a joke and nothing like actual flirting. I'm so cooked. I really want to tell her, cause I don't want her to find out years later and feel uncomfortable that I never said anything, but I also don't want to ruin the friendship, especially since she's my BEST friend. I just don't know what to do. Well, I think I know deep down I do want to tell her, but I'm just scared of the possible outcomes. Cause if we're being real, she doesn't like me back like that, but if I never tell her and she finds out years later, she's just gonna feel betrayed yk.
Literally how do I do this

Hmmm honestly you could try to poke around and figure out if she will react badly, and if she seems like she won't you could be upfront and maybe say you want to save your friendship, but you don't want to hide feelings? Seeing as it sounds like she may not respond well to flirting if she doesn't want to be in a relationship/doesn't seem interested idk

ik, very pessimistic of me.
HOWEVER, i did this once and can say from personal experience, it failed and lost a friend... so...
yeah.
personally, i wouldn't risk it.
