Hullo silly internet people,
I truly haven’t logged in here in 5ever, but I just had the most adorable date w my bf and I thought I’d share to the cuties on here!!
This is the 1st blog I write (me thinks??) … hopefully I follow the etiquette and whatnot (-: please do correct me if I did anything strange, and I hope you enjoy this somewhat lengthy read <3
Soooo, my boyfriend had planned a date for us to enjoy the last moments of summer and freedom before going back 2 uni.
However, this morning (Sunday, Aug 24, 2025) I was stressing coz I still had so many chores to do, such as vacuuming, dishes, and folding my clothes that have been scattered allllll over my home in an attempt to dry them, bcuz my dryer aint working properly!!!
And my man, like the gentleman he is, came to pick me up at around noon-ish. Only issue, I wasn’t even half way done with cleaning (god knowssss I ain’t the strongest cleaning soldier). Lucky for me, my precious lover helped me finish my tasks like the cutie he is, with no complaints, and with lots of encouraging words actually hihihi!
After FINALLYY taking care of all this, we drove (by we I mean he was behind the wheel and I was passenger princess yapping his ears off about my weekend) like an HOUR out of my city to go to a cutie pie botanical garden! We were stressing coz traffic is absolutelyyyy insane here + they were gonna close 30 mins after the GPS said we’d arrive (-:
*Edit, I forgot to mention that on our way there (and back), we passed by so so many farm lands, and saw so many horsies and various animals, FarmVille frl stg!! It truly made us wanna move to the countryside, everything was so peaceful and cozy!!
But fear not!! We did make it on time, had the loveliest chat with the owner of this little cozy zen garden, even bought some locally made rose jam, local spices, and homemade rose-lemonade (I tots recommend omgosh!).
Then we started our walk in the garden! Since it’s the end of summer, many flower and plants were no longer bloomed, but it was still sooo magical and special. The walk started in some woods, some beautiful stained glass doors and arches awaited us, and the path brought us to a fairy circle! There were so many magical statues around, lots of fairies, some Hindu gods, some silly gnomes. We were signing and skipping all over the place (we also happened to be the only ones there hihi).
Further, we saw the veggie garden where the owner grows plants for the various good she sells in her little shop! We also stumbled upon a row of apple trees, with tons of fallen apples, and many more unpicked in the tree! We couldn’t resist, we did take a couple hehe, I mean, I doubt they’d be missed, they were all over the grass and starting to rot in the tree. I ate one as I continued my walk, and it was quite yummy!! Sour as wild apples are, but delicious nonetheless.
Finally, we made it to the ‘zen’ garden, where music was playing out of nowhere, fairy statues prevailed, flowers stood tall and mighty, and pollinators were buzzing all around! I was especially impressed by the massiveeeee sunflowers!! They were twice my height, and I’m a pretty tall girl (about 175cm, which I believe is 5’9?? I dunno I’m not American, apologiessss). I also adored the wall of pink flowers (I have no clue what type they are), the gorgeous and yummy smelling lilies (probs my favourite flower!), and just the massive variety of shapes and colours (such as this star shaped violent to indigo gradient flower!)
TW for anyone who doesn’t like bugs! This next paragraph will be about a somewhat icky yet fascinating bug discovery. So we continued our walk, nearing the final rose garden, and we were skipping on some rocks near a tree. My bf and I suddenly froze! I had just seen a small black frog and kinda got scared of it temporarily + didn’t wanna squish it by accident. And I believed my man had done the same discovery, but then I look up and his face is painted with shock, curiosity, disbelief?? He pulls me away and turns me around. The tree which we were not even a meter away from, as we were hopping on rocks, was FILLEDDDD like truly FILLED with wasps, head 2 toe! Holes were all over the tree, probs entries they had made to claim this tree as their own. It was truly fascinating! I’m a big bug lover so I did get up close in there and personal T.T (well not too too close) and analyzed this phenomenon! It was quite interesting!
Ok hello bug fearers and welcome back to those who braved my wasp story!! I did want to say, for those more timid of the wildlife, that I also did pet quite a few bumblebees! And it was the most magical experience ever!! And I defo recommend!! I’ve been doing so since being a kid, and never gotten stung by one before, they’re super friendly, just go rly rly gently, and catch them when they have their heads buried in a flower hihihi!
After this discovery, we neared the final lake, where water lilies, or perhaps lotus flowers, and their many leaves floated. More frogs caught our attention, these ones mostly green and chubby, and a crow was talking to his long distance friend from the top of the tallest tree (which was like the height of a big building!!)
The botanical garden then came to an end. After many pictures, laughs, and stolen kisses, we headed to the car and drove back. On the way, I got quite hungry and we stopped at a fried chicken place. It’s a chain restaurant neither of us had gone to before, but we just taught it to be a regular fast food place. WRONG! Tell me why the interior was so fancy?? Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t a Michelin, but they had a hostess, and table mats, and cute booths! (Mby my standards are just low lol). It was kinda giving, fanciness for the middle-class — an air of luxury, while still being a bit musty, if you catch my drift. The food itself was ok taste wise, but I did get a tummy ache from the chicken :-/
Then my sweetheart drove me back home, after spoiling me ALL DAY LONG OMGOSH! He truly took care of everything, from the planning, to the transport, to the expenses! I truly am a lucky lucky gal hihi! I did bring all the yapping, magical vibes, million hugs n kisses tho!!
I believe this is about it, I had so so much fun writing this out!! I have many more stories to tell, from tales with friends, to solo adventures, to more of me n my lover’s little quests! I did write this mostly for myself/diary style, but if anyone found it interesting, I’m glad :D and do pls pls lmk if you want more!! I’d love 2 share!
Also how do you add pics on here?? I don’t have the URL of the pics in my photo app T.T
Lots of love!
