the people who say "People who don't like skinny jeans should not be apart of y2k microtrends" are just dramatic and the world is still spinning

Come for me all u want. Personally I don't like skinny jeans, miniskirts, and capris ON ME because I look awkward in them, a bunch of people especially feel the same way about just Skinny Jeans and Capris, sensory issues are a factor, looking lobsided is another. You'll be lucky to see people look good in them in the wild, and you know the girls will always eat down. The problem is that if even 1 person says their opinion that doesn't align with your opinion (this goes many ways btw not just fashion) then they'll be attacked on social media by Regina George wannabes, they'll twist your words from "I feel uncomfortable in these" to "I hate these everybody who likes them should die" and will get their following (if they're lucky to have one) of minions to mass report your account.

Honestly, the y2k (specifically SOME of the Mcbling community) have a mindset that if they're rude all of the time then they're 'iconic' which is certainly not true and is honestly embarrasing. Also if you are a person that says this, I'm not trying to pin you as a 'mean girl reheating Regina's nachos' (unless you are one and I could probably tell by the comments if you do comment)
