My name is Nam (most people know me by Spencer), he/him, I'm 22 years old and I was born in Hanoi, raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Most people know me from playing guitar for Vietnamese band Rắn Cạp Đuôi and Mona Evie as their merchandise designer/manager/guitarist/instrumentalist. I also worked at Wedogood Risograph Studio for ~1.7 years as a Risograph print technician/studio assistant which led me to focus my practice solely on zine making and printmaking.

Currently I am a freelance illustrator but also a co-founder of Tàu Hũ Ky Collective, which focuses on small scale DIY events in the city I am currently based in.

My favorite food: xiaolongbao, tofu and vegetarian hotpot

My favorite colors: fluorescent pink, red, fluorescent yellow, olive green and orange.

My favorite video games: Team Fortress 2, Earthbound, Hylics, Castle Crashers, Splatoon and Counter Strike Global Offensive

Even though I do not watch anime anymore, my favorite anime were Panty & Stocking, Hunter x Hunter and Samurai Champloo

I drive a Honda Cub 50cc motorbike!

My favorite music genres are: r&b, american primitivism, noise rock, harsh noise, post-hardcore and math rock but I listen to everything! and i really mean it!

As a big fan of fashion I might describe my style as proto-urahara old school lolita. I don't only wear lolita as I have always always loved street urahara 90s fashion and archival fashion. Mixing them into a personal style of semi baggy unisex FRUiTS esque fuckery is my joy. All my clothes are thrifted either from mercari.jp or local instagram thrift shops, i only buy accessories new.

Some of my favorite japanese fashion brands are: HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, Betty's Blue, 20471120, HERE THERE, SUPER LOVERS, BABY THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT, MILK and SWIMMER.

Other than fashion music and art, I also love scavenging on the internet, net.art is one of my biggest influences to still rely on slow social media such as blogs and spacehey as an alternative to instagram and twitter. I am incredibly inspired by Ferro's ita.toys website famous for their incorporation of harajuku magazine inspired web layout design.
