The Americans vs. Britains beef

The beef that British ppl have with Americans genuinely reminds me of stuff that would come up in an elementary school lunchroom, like I can just imagine all the countries as little kids eating in a lunchroom and kid America says smth like "ew! You put beans on your toast? That's gross!" And in retaliation kid Britain brings up some kind of traumatizing event for kid America, like just insult our food back?? We do it to ourselves all the time
