ive been listening to music a lot since music brings me comfort more than they ever will AND THEY STILL GET MAD AT ME FOR IT.

Don't apologise, your crash out is totally valid, parents seriously don't understand that when they were teens the world was a different place, and now it's a different place with new challenges they've never heard of.
