retro games prices have been evil since 2020

went onto price charting and noticed that since the pandemic started in 2020, retro prices have gone up significantly compared to 2017-2019. lately, the prices have gone up even more since the start of the year. im hoping that they will stabilize back down to 2017-2019 prices, but it seems unlikely due to the much higher demand created by retro nostolgia by gen z.
