DIY stuff i made and how/what i used to make them :3 (DIY guide?)

I've been doing DIY stuff for about a year i think, so i thought i'd share some of them, what i used to make them and try m best to explain how i made it?? i'm not the best at explaining things at all so if you need me to re-word something plz let me know!!
Some of these

- Pins!

I thought i'd start off with these since there's multiple different ways to make pins, I'm gonna get the most obvious one out of the way:

1. Pin maker

my mom got mine off of Amazon, there might be other places you could get them and i'm sure you could probably get them secondhand, i don't have alot to say on this one tbh, but i've had several pins from this fall apart and none of the ones i actually made did. but that's just my experience with it.

2. Soda cans

there's a bunch of ways to make pins with the bottom of soda cans, you can glue on a band logo or pretty much any picture you want, you could paint it or cut it into a different shape and do the other things with the different shape

Materials:

- soda can (cut the bottom out)
- scissors
- Paint, glue, tape or paper
- hot glue gun
- safety pin

DIY pins

1st one was painted, 2nd one is taped on (i didn't have glue, tape is an option too but i don't really recommend it, but hey whatever works works) and 3rd one was cut into a different shape

- spiked/studded bracelet

i actually had to fix mine a few weeks ago because i made it back in febuary and didn't know how to sew until last month lol

materials:

- fabric or part of an old pair of jeans/shorts (for jeans/shorts the part where the button goes is the best part to cut off)
- scissors
- sewing needle
- thread
- spikes/studs
- button

when i was cutting my old jeans i cut it a bit bigger then how i measured my wrist because i'm not the best with scissors, my bracelet is spiked so i stabbed some small holes in the bracelet with the scissors and added them (for studs you just gotta stab those in the fabric and close the prongs), then i sewed the button on! (if you don't know how to sew there's YouTube tutorials)

i had to sew shut part of the hole the button goes in because i made the bracelet too big, but i think it's cool

 - bracelet display

this is probably one of the best things i've made, a bunch of people have made them a bit differently, but here's how i made mine!

materials:
- at least 2 empty paper towel rolls
- paint
- hot glue gun
- something to slightly lift it up (i used an old hair spray cap but i've seen others use small boxes)

i took the paper towel rolls, painted them and once they were dry i hot glued them to the hairspray cap and hot glued them together, make sure to have even weight on both sides or it'll fall over (regardless of what you used to stand it up)

display

(this was also the first thing i made that my mom actually liked, she's my #1 hater when it comes to creativity so i was surprised lol)

- band posters

materials:
- pencils
- paper
- screen to trace or reference off of (optional)

most of the time i trace them but for my ISMFOF one specifically i traced part of it and drew the rest myself, i didn't trace anything for the Watchout! Theres Ghosts one :)

i really hope this helps someone out or give them ideas :3 i have some more i'll post another time maybe, bye bye :3
