dog got sprayed by a skunk and my house smells like ass pls save me

i was chilling in the bathroom, doing my thing, when i started smelling skunk which u know, is a bit weird but at first I thought it was weed, like someone outside smoking. Then I realzied "nah this is too nasty, its skunk" but I thought it was outside since there has been a lot of skunks in my neighbourhood recently. Imagine my horror when I come out of the bathroom and smell the rancid skunk smell get stronger as I heard my panicking parents downstairs! :D

Apparently, my dog went in the backyard and after like a few seconds immediately comes rushing in sneezing and drooling. People say skunk smells bad, but it REALLY smells bad when your right there at the source. Like I legit thought something was wrong in the house, like a gas leaked or there was poison or someone did some crazy shit in the neighbourhood. Nope! Just a skunk. I was hungry but my appetite was ruined. Like I had a headache from the smell it was that rancid TT My mom apparently couldn't smell the skunk, which lucky her (she should also get that checked out) i wish I didnt have to smell it.

I couldn't save my room tho so the smell has seeped in and ughhh its soo bad. It's much better now since we all lit up candles, put coffee grounds around the house, used air refreshener, and my sister put on her incense everywhere upstairs but I can still smell the sour hint of skunk and its driving me madddd

And I just washed my hair yesterday and put some of my good and pricey products that I rarely put on but now thats all wasted because. And my laundryyyy I just did my laundry too and now my clothes stink again >^<  And while I was cleaning up and stuff I had to call my friend to comfort her abt somethings so that was fun lol.

Everywhere online says that itll be there for like a few weeks to a few months and istg if i go back to school smelling like skunk, im self destructing on the spot. kewnfwlmdknelfmsaa
