Adding onto the comment below = also practice mindful shopping. If you want something, but don’t know if its a want or need. Leave the store, and if you’re still thinking about it, buy it! But if you’ve forgotten by the time you reremember, it was likely just a passing feeling of want. It can help you save money and actually pick and choose YOUR desired closet.
I see fast fashion as any website that sells cheap clothes that are 100% polyester and always have something "trendy" or new. Shien, amazon, tiktok shop, temu. The best way to avoid fast fashion is to thrift or buy things secondhand, as it lengthens the lifespan of a clothing piece so it doesn't go from factory to landfill as fast.
The definition for fast fashion can vary, but think back on old spring and winter clothing catalogs if that makes sense. Sites or companies that push quick trends are fast fashion. So if there is an influx of NEW styles everyday/week, its certainly fast fashion. :) But if it comes to their practices and CO2 emissions and stuff, I think even luxury brands are guilty of that.

P.s. Buy to keep forever, not to wear for a week. Outfit repeating for the win.
