As the title says, here I am making a blog post to yap about my antique photograph collection. Looking at the clothing the people are wearing and the style of photograph, I assume these are all from the Edwardian era (1901-1910).
This first one is a family portrait, and the first photograph of this type I added to my collection. It features a man, a woman, and 2 young children, and on the back, "Jim + Lola Burrows" and "Pierre + Lloyd" on the line below in black ink with cursive handwriting, and I assume these to be their names.
This photograph was the second addition to my collection, and is a portrait of a young lady wearing a white lace collar. This one is probably one of my favorites by looks.
I also really like this one, which is a very lighthearted looking group photo of what is probably a friend group or family members sitting on a pile of rocks and wooden beams.
This next one is a very nice picture of a woman standing next to a tree by a pond. It is my most recent photo in the collection.
And last, but certainly not least, is this one, which is seemingly the oldest one in the collection, judging by the weathering of the photo itself and the style of clothing the women are wearing. This one also has an illustration on the back with the name and information about the photography studio on the back.
That's my collection for now, Thank you all for checking it out and reading my small ramblings. Possibly a part 2 in the future as my collection expands, or maybe a few blog posts about my antique postcards collection (That would be a very long one, I have quite a few of those :3).
Farewell for now, and may your day be filled with whimsy.
