Need Ideas for investigation

Something vaguely related to Psychology will do. It also needs to be observable so I can do field notes. Any idea given will be very much aprecciated, its for college and I don't know where to start :(

I was thinking about investigating the lifestyle of Jazz musician's in my region, but I don't know how I would go about that even, like I can't really stalk them around taking notes its kinda impossible and weird. Maybe going to a concert would be enough but idk.

Hope your day is going well

I guess something that I do wonder is why do people participate in self destructive activities that divide people. I remember this one trend in another country where people make the loudest trucks with speakers and base that destroy the ears of all who listen. At the end of the video I was watching, they say how the trend isn't culture because it divides people instead of bring people together. What lead up to them participating in the activity and what keeps them going despite all the harm they do to themselves? I think some insights would be helpful to prevent such situations from happening and appearing in my feeds.

This also makes me wonder why isn't there a good antonym for the word "culture"? Having a word for it would help with labeling similar problems.

Thats for sure super interesting!

Problem is where I live is mostly really chill lol

Except I do remember witnessing some fighting at the public market, people gathered around them in order to calm those two down.

Because this is a group project I am also not the only one who decides what we are gonna do, and it seems my other group partners want to investigate infrastructure and its effects in security percepction, which I find kinda booooring... But guess I will have to agree since they are the majority in this situation.

Actually infrastructure is very important. Some reality TV shows have developed homes and stages to try and bring as much discomfort and drama to the contestants as possible to create interesting shows. It's quite messed up, but also interesting that the design of a space can have such massive impacts on mood. You might be able to find some interesting stuff with that topic.

Maybe you could do the effect music has on people? You could observe this through any concerts or busking, if that happens in your area, and pay attention to mood and social behavior. You could even incorporate the idea of investigating Jazz musicians by interviewing one, so that you could get insight into how music affects a musician personally.
