Ryuu (OC) [WIP]

I'll make a TW for this OC at the beginning -> mentions of drug addiction, self harm, suicide, hospitalization

Ryuu is 18 y.o. (at the beginning), he's a tall (189cm/6'2) and quite skinny man. He has straight dyed blonde hair which is neck length (he's naturally brunet) and brown eyes. He dresses and is grunge. 

From personality/traits/other stuff:

- he can be talkative but isn't very social (he won't approach you, but if you do, he might start yapping)

- he listens to Nirvana religiously and Kurt Cobain in his role model

- he sings and plays guitar, can also play bass and drums (he isn't as good though)

- he's into skateboarding, is quite experienced but not on a professional level yet

- his favourite colours are red and blue

- he was barely passing school

- has an undiagnosed bipolar disorder, possibly another mental illness

- experiences chronic pain which affects mostly his joints and bones

- his mom divorced his dad when he was 14 y.o. (he lives with his mom)

- he has always loved music

And now we get to his story:

18 y.o. - two weeks before graduation Ryuu starts experiencing bipolar symptoms, he has a depressive episode. After summer break his friend offers him a job on a petrol station which he at first declines to agree a month later. When he gets the job he enters a manic episode which makes him become an employee of the month but also he gets injured often (he isn't careful while skateboarding and attempts tricks which he clearly cannot do well).

19 y.o. - He meets a person who is looking for band members which Ryuu gets excited about. Sadly he doesn't get to join the band but he doesn't aknowledge that, he believes that he's in a band. The same guy gets him into drugs (opioids specifically).

20 y.o. - Ryuu starts to write songs for his imaginary band. He uploads them to streaming services but doesn't interact with anyone, there are only the songs and the band's name.

21 y.o. - He gets a small audience but isn't aware of it. Because of how little information he shared, his "band" begins to gain popularity (also his songs are actually good).

22 y.o. - Ryuu starts spiralling. He feels suicidal regardless of episodes, his drug addiction gets worse, he cuts himself. One of his coworkers suggests that he might be bipolar which makes Ryuu get even worse. He begins to either not go out or leave home for a couple of days straight. Him mom notices that there is something happening but blames it on him still being young, making her rather irritaded than worried.

23 y.o. - He overdoses on his birthday which forces him to go to the hospital. Three days later he has to be rushed to the hospital again, this time it's because of a self inflicted injury. A month later Ryuu springs his ankle while skateboarding which is his final straw. He quits his job (they actually fired him earlier but he wasn't aware of that), locks himself in their (his & his mom's) garage (for three days) and writes a song everyday. He then realises that it's just him and there was never any band. On the fourth day he gets out to buy a gun, then he gets high and starts believing that he's Kurt Cobain. Because of it Ryuu gets to the conclusion that he has to kill himself. He writes a suicide note explaining why he will commit and that he had a band (with passwords to the band's profiles). Five days later, one of his friends and old coworkers finds him dead on the garage floor. As Ryuu was talking about his band quite regularly, he is surprised to find out that it was just a delusion. Then he informs his mom about the incident and writes an explanation to his fans (as Ryuu got quite famous). 

Ryuu's story makes him even more famous and many people start calling him an underestimated talent or even a musical genius (I think it's a bit of an overstatement though).
