Whenever I look in the mirror, I have no idea what I'm seeing. As soon as I look at my face I can't figure out what I'm looking at? I can see the parts individually, but I can't see the whole. It's so frustrating.
I want to do makeup that goes with my natural features or whatever, but how can I do that if I can't see my face?? And I also have no idea if I'm pretty or not. I feel like I look uncanny. My face doesn't look right. People irl don't notice it either. I've asked if I look 'off' but I get a "no??"
Anyone else like this? How do I get rid of it?? :(

sorry this is a really weird question but are you autistic? you dont neccessarily have to be to have it but a lot of people with autism also experience prospopagnosia (faceblindness) - i dont personally have either but i know some people who do. do you tend to identify others through their clothing/hair rather than their facial features?
obviously im no medical professional so take it with a grain of salt but its a surprisingly common condition

that's actually kinda crazy yeah I do def recognize people by their clothing/hair. But I like can imagine faces if they're someone I see on a daily/almost daily basis. Would be pretty hard to describe them though.
I'm def gonna look into the whole 'face blindness' thing, I haven't really heard of that before. Ty!
