Fun Fax with Zach

With no Particular subject or whatnot for these facts I hope you enjoy :D

  • You May or may not know this one but the first computer to "sing" was the IBM 7094 in 1961, singing the song "Daisy Bell" by Henry Dacre in 1892.
  1. This song appears in a few pieces of popular media as well, from "2001 A space odyssey (1968)" to "The Amazing Digital Circus (2025)"
  • The Chicago Bears football team in the NFL has never had a passing season over 4000 yards despite being in the NFL since it's inception (1920)
  1. The best passing season of ANY Bears Quarterback is Erik Kramer in 1995 with 3,838 yards and 29 passing Touchdowns
  • Although not being the first Hip-Hop song released, the song "Rappers Delight" by the Sugarhill gang in 1979 was the first to be played on radio and boosted the popularity of the genre.
  • The oldest known surviving photograph was "View from the window at Le Gras" developed in 1827 by French photographer Nicephore Niepce. The first photograph depicting a person wasn't made until 1838 by Louis Daguerre.
  1. Also, Louis Daguerre is the namesake for the first publicly available photographic process, the Daguerreotype, as he invented it.
