8/20/2025 | Crash Dieting Plan

WARNING- Contains Topics About Dieting & Weightloss
People sometimes act weird when smaller people diet. It is perfectly fine for me to lose 8-10 pounds.

What and why:

I weigh about 130 pounds (58 kilograms). I would like to weigh closer to 120 pounds (54 kilograms). I can't seem to get abs from working out. The only time I ever had abs was from being crazy skinny (112 pounds/50 kilograms). I want to have abs again. The problem is that it is crunch time at work right now and I am expected to perform. I can feel my brain not working right when I am too hungry. I think I will need to eat somewhat normally for the next week or so, then maybe work will slow down. If work slows down I can do a fast or something and allow myself to be a little bit groggy. I think I could have abs in two weeks if I was able to do my whack-ass crash diet uninterrupted.

Gameplan:

So once work slows down I am going to do a 24 hour water fast to get a good baseline. Then I am going to stick to 1200 calories a day for 12 days. Finally, I will do one more 24 hour water fast to get a strong final number. All in this is a 14 day (2 week) diet designed specifically for me (don't do this yourself). I have done 1200 a day for many months before and it is the only effective way for me to lose weight. I haven't done a water fast before but I hear a lot about its health benefits from some pretty mainstream reputable folks so I want to add that for this one.

Food:

I can eat whatever I want as long as I stick to 1200 calories on food days and fast on fasting days. I could, for example, eat at McDonald's 3 times a day as long as I order something like a 10 piece nugget and a diet coke (no fries). That comes out to 1280 calories. Not sweating going over by 80 calories. I'll keep track of what I eat when I kick off the diet.

Exercise:

Absolutely none. If I feel like it I might throw in some crunches or a run, but weightloss mostly comes from diet.

Sleep:

As much as possible. I might even take a day off work to sleep in or something. I am way behind on sleep and have been for years. It is agonizing. I would love love love to sleep until 9am.

So yeah that's it. What do you think? I'll kick this diet off soon. Otherwise today was a great day and my first day on SpaceHey! Work was fine, did a good job. Had a nice walk after work and cooked some good food. Did all the dishes right away. House is spotless and I am proud of my housekeeping this week. Haven't slacked at all.

Losing 10 pounds in 14 days (or just under two months, period) without being morbidly overweight sounds pretty risky and unsustainable. And, while weight loss is mainly diet, it's also good to work out sometimes or at the very minimum get a lot of protein in to keep your muscle. Else, you might lose the abs that you desire!

And, on the topic of diet, CICO will work as you said, but it's a lot easier and more satiating having a balanced diet that fits in your calorie budget. You could eat a 10-piece nugget, or you can have a palmful of chicken, a cup or a half of brown rice, and loads of veggies on the side for probably under the amount of a 10-piece.

Anyway, good luck, and stay safe, stranger. :-)
