oh new jersey hardcore, how i love you. jersey is mecca for emos the same way that cali is for actors and washington is for lesbians. all the best bands start in some shitty little suburb in new jersey, and gunslikegirls is certainly no exception. i always hold space in my heart for underrated post-hardcore bands that popped up out of nowhere, released and album or two, and then dipped.

also also so true about the bands w like 1 or 2 albums they always hittttt (and especially when they only release a 4 song EP and then dip... perfection ,'D)

yeasssss they’re so awesome!!!!! and yeah i think small bands like that concentrate all their energy into like 10 songs and then they have no more magic left but they leave behind something beautiful
