not so serious serious question because do you think that if i believe in myself hard enough and am confident enough in my current german language knowledge i can convince myself im fluent and actually become fluent in the process without doing much else?

obviously not, but the confidence will definitely help you learn it. if you're confident you can learn it, you will. but you have to actually learn it to do so. you can't just manifest it lol.
yeah i'm learning it on and off, my native language shares things with the german language which makes it easier. but this was a really dumb thought i had i thought was funny to post. didn't think ppl would take it seriously lol. of course u can't gaslight urself into knowing an entire language without effort

immerse yourself in german. read german, watch german media, talk to german people. learn the grammar, have the dictionary always open and be persistent.
lol i know it wouldn't, i've been learning german on and off for a while now and i also got german friends to help me. i also got some easy german translated manga laying around to read and invovle myself with other media too
this really was just an unserious blog post about some dumb thought i had, i didn't expect people to actually take it seriously
