about subcultures

has anyone noticed that all of subcultures are stuck in this weird state of nostalgia? there aren't any new subcultures (at least that i know of) and when new to the subculture people do something new and different, they weirdly get shamed, called posers and sometimes put in to a different label. my best example of this is scenecore. some of them where not truthful to the subculture yes, but i think its important to let people do new things and even change the subculture to some degree. if you don't the subcultures will die. if you really don't want subcultures to change, then we should make new ones. anyway rant over. have a nice day!
