A few years ago, I once went to this place called allensworth. I went to camp with some buddies, and we had a fun time, but I'm not sure it existed. I'm not sure the place was even real. Let me explain
The city is actually a ghost town. A small vacant town rich with history being maintained by "park service". We never saw this park service, or at least I didn't. Past the town there's flat camp grounds, also being maintained by a mysterious park service I either can't remember or never saw. There's a shoddy often flooded dirt road that leads into this place. And a train that runs along this road.
The entire place is an open field. And I mean open. There's nothing for mile and miles and miles, just grass. Tall grass that waves and floats in the wind. I decided to start walking at one point just to see how far I could go. And I didn't like how far I could go at all. I just kept walking and the camp just got smaller and smaller and there was absolutely no change in the rest of the environment. Until I stumbled upon a mote. This mote seemed like obvious irrigation for something. I almost just want to call it a canal but its not that big. The was a boat, tipped over and sunken in mud and stagnant water pooled at the bottom of the canal mote thing. Flies were buzzing everywhere. On the other side of the mote was simply more grass, same as before.
Every hour or so a train would come through. It would approach from the horizon and travel along the horizon and depart through the horizon. These trains were huge too. Long rows of cars that would take 10 minutes to pass through and then they would disappear like they were never even their.
The sky was always blue the grass was always gold. The clouds never changed. It was like a dream.
I don't have any photos of this place. I can't remember the drive to or from allensworth. And I don't remember anything else from the trip and I don't like that. My friends say we stayed for a weekend and I only remember like 6 hours. You can look up allensworth on a map but it feels equally as mysterious.
Do any of you have experiences in allensworth???

I’ve never been but it reminds me of a campsite I went to- when I searched it up after it said that it had out of bounds for 3 years, even though we had a director person. Can barely remember it. Good much with investigating that tho <3
I meant good luck btw
