Artificial Intelligence is a nightmare

Personally, I think we are royally and incredibly FUCKED as a society, because with the constant usage of AI in the modern day, people are growing more and more stupid as they aren't able to properly function without some clanker in their ear telling them what to do and what not to do, I’m surprised they haven’t started asking it to wipe their ass yet.

ChatGPT specifically can burn, it is largest and most popular LLM (Large Language Model) out there and everyone and their ma uses it, which significantly harms you academically, and so most of the people that use ChatGPT are unable to think critically on their own anymore due to how much they use it for every single little thing, they can’t even bake a simple cake without needing ChatGPT’s instructions—even though it's a simple google search—they just want the information brought straight to them. They claim it is their best friend, their therapist, their coach, their EVERYTHING. Most have replaced it for google and decide to trust it more than factual resources, which personally I believe is utter nonsense, why would you trust a chatbot more than NASA? And the moment the servers are down they all flock to social media, istg do you think they realize they sound like the birds from Finding Nemo?

And everyone using it to cheat on their assignments? Students who have not fully developed their learning and critical thinking ability, undeveloped minds using artificial intelligence to do their work FOR them, so that they don’t have to think about it at all. Doesn’t that ring some alarm bells? University students, people that are going into medical fields, doesn’t THAT ring some alarm bells?!

They have done multiple researches on how bad using AI can be on your brain, they have proved that people who use AI strictly have a brain that is practically shut off in the thinking department, it isn’t performing as much as it should, and this affects their overall performance! They are proved to be absolutely lazy.

And AI generated content. It’s a complete nightmare. You see it everywhere now, there are whole accounts dedicated to just that, with generated images, stories, a voice over, and there are a lot of people that absolutely eat that shit up! Go read a reddit post or something instead for crying out loud, they’re way more interesting than whatever this tin-head is saying. They have also estimated that in the near future like 80-90% of content on the internet will AI generated, and how sad is that? I've even started seeing the term "Human-made" floating around, I feel like we're in some sort of futuristic dystopian novel but without the kickass action, just forced to watch it happen.

There are people who post AI images and call themselves artists. There are people who are generating songs and posting them to Spotify. And of course, It’s being used for literal porn as well, videos and images, and whatever else they decided to throw in there. Just how much more disappointing can we be? So many get exploited by the porn industry the least you could do is appreciate the work put out by not replacing it with AI, or yk.. use your brain, or be ethical and read some ao3 or support some real artists that take actual time and effort into what they make if you're into animated stuff.
