I don’t like boring pretentious prologues when writing stuff like that so I’m gonna give you a simple one: I’ve been trying to break free from my phone addiction for years. Whenever I see progress it somehow gets fucked over and I don’t know what to do.
I’ve tried anything from app blockers to hiding my phone away and nothing seems to work. I want something more drastic but I have no idea what. Does anyone know what could be helpful?

Awwww bbyyy. You need 2 remind urself that ur doing great and wayyyyyy better than most pplin the world in handling ur phone usage. U have gone to great lengths to restrain social media 2 the point that you sacrifice convo time even with me and I truly respect ur hustle <3
Ik this prolly wont help u but we dont have anything 2 lose if i mention that during my exam studies everytime i hid the phone under my desk (30cm away from me max) and would put on a couple CDs and just open a book page, i would COMPLETELY lock in. Ig u could try something like that instead of forcefully "throwing it away" or trying too hard to hide it, make it more natural. Thats my advice for now and if i think of anything else ill make sure to comment again or help u up close. I rlly hope that u can finally resolve ur long term phone problem and i feel u, last night i spend HOURS on reels after not rlly toucching them for a WHILE so we all relapse. U can do this bby i luv u xoxo
