Writing an entry so I don't fall asleep.

Writing an entry because I feel like falling asleep so bad. Worst part is that I have the longest class of the day in like 30 minutes... I'm gonna be struggling to stay awake. :')

So far my first day of sophomore year is going well. Algebra class is laid out a bit weird- its in a lecture hall with these weird dinky tables, which sucks because its a flipped class. That means we take notes at home and do work in class... So somehow I'm gonna have to simultaneously keep my tablet notes and my worksheet on this dinky wobbly table. Amazing choice of setting.

It's been pretty boring because this is all stuff I've heard before, which was to be expected. Its hot as balls outside so I can't even go out and wander around aimlessly like I want to. At least I got some stuff done- like replacing my  school ID and signing up for a volunteer expedition on Saturday. I did this last year- and it was nice because they gather you up and bus you over to the place you're volunteering at. I chose a charity that helps the disabled learn life skills and independence, so that'll be really cool to help out at. I'm actually really excited to see all of what they do! Not excited to wake up at 6:30 on a Saturday, though. : |

Trying to think of other things I can write about so I don't fall asleep waiting for class to start... I guess I cooked breakfast this morning?? I cleaned my room some more. I'm considering going over to the pet store tomorrow to start setting up for my cat, mostly because I feel like getting a litter box up to my dorm is gonna be a pain. Might invite my roomie to go with me because she likes to look at all the pets in the store. 

I'm also considering trying to 3D print this part for my butterfly lamp. I have a near identical piece on the other part, so I might be able to repair it? Plus this guy at the printing lab said some other guy would be able to help me model it. It'd be really cool to be able to salvage this thing. Maybe I'll tuck everything in my backpack tomorrow and head over. 

Alright. I'm walking to class. Hope I don't fall asleep...
