new fantastic four movie opinion

I was able to watch it yesterday, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. I appreciate the theming they did with it. I thought it captured the world extremely well. Instead of something more dark and grungy, they made it more "retro" I guess, like 70s. The storyline was also pretty good, there hasn't been any movies about Reed and Sue's baby (at least to my knowledge), so I'm glad they did something with that. Some parts of the movie though felt a bit off I guess? Acting wise, I'm not too sure how I feel about Joesph Quinn playing Johnny Storm, but I think he did a good job playing the role. I like the other acting choices though! Getting to see Natasha Lyonne in something other than "But I'm a Cheerleader" was great (I haven't watched many of the things she's been in, I'm sorry </3). I don't think I really have anything bad to say about this movie, I'm just really glad that they're making good superhero movies again.
