First days of the school year complete gulp !!

Nearly every class started with like a "Get To Know Me" type activity. Which is like normal, but I always take so long deciding what to write. I never know whether to put like my real actual truth or like edit it to cater to my teacher. Does that make sense? Like if someone asked me my favorite type of music and I answered like normal I would say like post-hardcore and emo, but that feels embarrassing for some reason to write on a worksheet for the teacher to get to know about me. Instead I put like "I like rock music." I guess that defeats the purpose of getting to know me if I don't just answer honestly. Sort of unrelated, but I also find it difficult to say my pronouns to a teacher out loud which is like fucked up.
