choir auditions (help!!)

I am in concert choir as an alto 2 despite my range being d#2-c#6 and i just got the opportunity to try out for chamber choir, (as a soprano 1 this time...) and I am stuck between two songs,

the ballad of jane doe from ride the cyclone,

think of me from phantom of the opera. 

last audition I sang God help the outcast from hunchback and my director said it was too high for me (???) 

I was also thinking of Bohemian rhapsody, but i think that might be too low and now get me the spot I want..
