(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) digicam photo dump (july '25)!

i really put my digicam to work this past month.

went on a spontaneous trip to mitsuwa and had miso curry chicken cutlet! these photos also feature the two twinkle twinkles my girl got for me <3

there's a fall themed coffee shop in chicago called october cafe and it's owned by the sweetest lesbian couple ever!! i highly recommend their maple forest latte (it has cardamom which is a spice that i think pairs well with coffee) but they also have a "we fell in love in october" flight which i neeeeeeeeed to try at some point this fall :')

i love the oliang!!! their panang curry is my fave and they recently added duck as a protein option. this was my first time trying duck and i think i like it more than chicken (well, at least in this dish.) the oliang also has the best thai tea i've ever had and their mango sticky rice is also quite excellent (rice is evenly cooked, not too sweet!)

hung out at colectivo coffee on one of my days off but i didn't even plan on going there. i initially planned on hanging out at side practice coffee which is where i got the matcha latte in this picture but it's too small in there and i couldn't find a seat </3 the matcha latte was good (it had thai tea syrup in it!) and i just got a lemon vanilla scone at colectivo.

i finally got to try del sur bakery after soooooo many months of knowing about it. i had high expectations for this place because of how hyped up it was (well, i should say is) and trust that this place DELIVERS. their pastries have complex flavor profiles (the adobo brownie was an experience: salty, savory, sweet) and their ube matcha was excellent! the ube syrup didn't overpower the matcha which is an issue i find with ube matcha lattes from other coffee shops so i'd happily line up for it again.

saw something nice about nowhere perform at a backyard show! they did a cover of wilco's hotel arizona which made its way into my monthly playlist :D

went to devil dawgs and brought out my army of twinkle twinkles! i had a chicago style hot dog with tater tots and my friend got a slider :p

went on a scavenger hunt (not really) for txt's new album! there were a couple of events happening in the city for their comeback and i went to two. one was at kpop nara and the other was at reckless records! kpop nara had a huge banner we could pose infront of and the record store had special photocards we could grab for free :D

took pictures at this vintage photobooth that was in one of the vintage shops near reckless records. they had pretty cool decor in there!

i've had this window opened up since (maybe) the 30th of july but i never got around to finishing this post until now. oops.
