Midnight thoughts

You know how you always see commercials for donating to cancer charities for children but like suicide is much more common of a death in adolescence than cancer and the difference is nowhere near the difference between people diagnosed with mental health versus cancer. You never see anyone widespread raising money for mental health services. Sooooo many people don’t have the funds to provide their kids with help they need yet there are hospitals where families get everything payed for from the treatment to the meals but I’ve seen kids in pmic that can’t see their families because the parents don’t have the money to drive and see them. And I’m not saying cancer isn’t horrible because it truly is but I think we need more funding towards mental health services than we have.
