Don't want to sound like a nob who never reads, but i have a shit ton of books and for all the ones that are not young adult I just take so, so long to finish them. Usually by the time i get somewhere near the end i'm not even interested anymore. So like how do you do it? I've read around 7 books this year with great struggle and even the ones i absolutely loved I still had trouble finishing with...
at the moment i have 3 half read books (two of which I am currently reading) and 9 books i have yet to read...

Most books r boring as hell so I just started reading darker stuff
What works for me is, DNF a book if u dont like it or skim it, Only read one book at a time until finished, make notes in your epud reader (or mark it), Try to finish the book in under 2 weeks of starting it because after that I get bored with it.
i like buying books so i can take my time on them and they act as trophies on my shelves so not finishing a book would be a waste of my money (why are books so expensive like if i buy one from a bookstore its like 20 euros bro i work FOUR hours for that)
the two week deadline thing might work!! and yeah i usually read one book at the time but i paused one of them to read the other book first instead so thats why it says im reading two rn haha
