New to Kandi or a baby scene? Don't worry!

Heyyy, so I see you're new to making Kandi and need some tips! Don't worry, I'm here to help because I'm KEWL (totally, trust me) I'm still kinda new myself, but these're confirmed by a lot of ppl

1) first off, you'll buy your first set of beads off of Amazon, most likely (don't worry, everyone does), and you'll see this clear string. DONT USE IT! It sucks and it WILL. dry rot eventually. Instead, PLEASE use elastic fabric string, it can be found cheap on Amazon and it works great! Oh, and there's a lot of great ways to tie and secure, so find one that works for you!

2) Don't feel pressured to make really big cuffs if you don't want to. ESPECIALLY as a newbie, they can be really frustrating and it's made me cry several times. DONT teach yourself, there's dozens of tutorials on YouTube for you to watch instead to make it easier. If you do start making Kandi cuffs, you will LOVE LOVE LOVE Kandipatterns.com, a website made specifically for cuffs and pearler bead patterns and pictures to share with everyone! You can even make your own : 3

3) you'll look for beads eventually, and places I'd recommend is Michael's (a craft store, at least where I live), Pony Bead Store, or Amazon if you want something specific. Though, I'd recommend looking in person and/or buying in bulk. It'll be expensive, but it'll save u money in the long run.

4) You finally started making big cuffs, yay! YouTube is your best friend for really specific tutorials. I use yt myself to find them, even if some of them have 3 views and are 10 years old XD but they're still great! Oh, and Pinterest is great for inspo and links to tutorials as well -or just the video on Pinterest is the tut, but it's more common to be a link-
