TADC episode 6

So...how are we feeling about the recent episode.

Imo the voice acting in this episode (ESPECIALLY from Michael) was phenomenal. The pacing was digestible, like I like how each character was given their own time to talk about their feelings...but not giving away too much that it feels like nonsensical exposition.

Jax's mental breakdown and his near abstraction in the bathroom was heartmelting.

My theories back when TADC came out was that kinger or Gangle would come closest to getting abstracted. But from recent episodes where they had some emotional focus it seemed like they could mostly hold their own and that what I THOUGHT was them coming close to abstraction was NOTHING compared to what we saw with Jax.

Its obvious Jax knows more than he's letting on, like his anger or dismissal might have some justification.

I saw a theory online that showing human emotions might be the reason people got abstracted in the past and that's why Jax was so heavy on the "archetype" thing in this episode.

Because in my opinion he hadn't strayed far from his assigned archetype. "The funny one"...not so much, tbh he pissed me off when I first watched the show. And my reasoning was because he was doing TOO much with being mean/being funny (I love when there's more to characters than just one set thing). So actually having an idea as to what the affects of showing emotions might do to someone makes Jax feel like a more three dimensional character.

Any thoughts on how the episode was, doesn't have to just be theories, or if anything out of the ordinary caught your eye?
