Everything I like turns out to be evil

I found out the creator of a musical I really liked turned out to have allegations of being an abuser a couple of weeks back (the news died down pretty quick though). Only last night I had this thought.

Most people I liked -- as any creator of anything -- turns out to be evil!!

"Oh, this artist makes really cool content!" Nah, they're a pedophile.

"Wow, this guy's music is really catchy!" Nah, they're an abuser.

"Jeepers, this game is really fun!" Nah, they're actually charged with multiple crimes

Its like its a cycle sobsob,, now whenever I come to like someone's work I just wait to find out they're a serial killer or smth. It's expected atp 💔

My question tho is why can't ppl be normal for once. And why must the fucked up people be succesful content creators that end up getting a shiton of fans. 'Tis life I guess
