Move in day

Well, I'm here now. Back in college, in the dorms. Still doesn't feel entirely real, but it's starting to hit me now.

I forgot so many things at home. Things I packed even- like the box of books I wanted to start reading, the power cord to my CD player, my LITERAL SCHOOL ID-

It's a bit of a pain- but hey. I'm finally here. I got a bed, my medicine, soap... Basically everything I need to survive until I drive back next Thursday. Or maybe I'll drive back tomorrow because I forgot so much. Either way, my dorm is nice. Roommate had a dick drawn on her wall, toilets sorta broken, our freezer is uh. Rusty. But other than that it's nice.

I have a nice view from my window. I'm high up, so I can see the road and the forest from here. Unfortunately, I am directly in front of this mowed field [ew] with some bring as hell flood lights [double ew]. I've tried to put up my curtains twice and both times the command hooks fell and scared the bejeezus out of me, so hopefully the lights don't bother me too much in the meantime...

It's nice seeing my roommates again. I always get so nervous for some reason...

I got interrupted while writing the last part of this post. It's now like 9 o'clock- my roomies were both home so we went to go bake some cookies. My computer really wants to restart for some reason, so I'll leave this entry off here.
