The Fog

The fog in this user’s head never clears,
A haze that lingers, year after year.
It wraps around thoughts, thick and unkind,
A weight on the soul, a veil on the mind.

When this user speaks, they’re met with a glance,
A shrug or a smile, but no real chance
For anyone to hear what’s beneath the mist—
The swirling thoughts that can’t be dismissed.

It’s more than tired eyes or a simple bad day,
It’s a storm that refuses to fade away.
A cloud that stays, always close, never far,
A fog that dims every shining star.

But to speak of it? They’re told, “It’s just in your head,
A little bit of stress, go back to bed.”
But this user knows the truth, all too well—
The fog is real, more real than words can tell.

So they carry it with them, in silence, alone,
A weight in their chest, a stone upon stone.
And the world just moves on, blind to the fight,
But inside this user, there’s a quiet light.
