[FOR PRESS RELEASE] Statement regarding the Schlep controversy on Roblox

It has come to my great attention that Roblox has recently embroiled in a major controversy where it has banned the accounts of a YouTuber named Schlep who has played a key role in getting pedophiles arrested.

Roblox has said that they're banning Schlep because the latter had engaged in harmful forms of vigilante activities, yet the allegations are easily contradicted by numerous indications including videos by influencers which also showed that Roblox had utter failed in protecting children on the website, just like how FIDE and others failed many female chess players as they let the Riga chess maniac to harass them with used chess condoms before Meduza pulled the curtain by publishing a feature article.

At least, FIDE cleaned up its act by starting proceedings against the Riga chess maniac after Meduza has published the feature article which resulted in the Riga chess maniac being deprived of his International Master (IM) title along with being subjected with a 12 years ban on entering chess tournaments. As I am a long time player in Roblox who has reached influential positions in military simulation groups, at least at many points in the past, and most importantly being the first player to win the three day challenge in the Space Sailors game, I'm expressing deep concern and shock over Roblox's decisions to double down on the unjust ban against Schlep and the complacency regarding child safety issues on the website further and here I'm urging anyone I know, particularly friends I've met on Roblox and beyond, to boycott the platform and to protest the unjust decisions until those are cancelled with Roblox making full apologies in verbal and material forms.

Some including those in my circle are correct that Roblox's idiotic moves are symptoms of Big Tech enshittification. By now almost all digital platforms have been gripped by enshittification which make it as if the Internet have turned hostile against its users. This fact certainly sounds depressing but luckily there are four constraints to enshittification, which come in the form of competition, regulation, self-help and labor.

Let's be clear, protests against Roblox's idiotic moves should be done in peaceful and nonviolent ways. Here I'm going to instruct my comrades in Anonymous to feature contents calling out Roblox for their enshittification when making #OpUkraine cyberattacks against Russian systems. But most importantly, we all have to get political in order to push for meaningful changes to address enshittification. Therefore I'm urging all my friends I've met on Roblox and beyond, along with anyone reading this post, to get politically active and to join movements like Take Democracy Back in America so that we can be powerful together and to help elect competent politicians who are competent enough to address the enshittification issue in the digital world.

Besides that, I must admit that the calls for the United States Congress to set up a committee which is dedicated to investigate the issue, which are made by some segments, are grounded on reality considering the issue's nature. I will be endorsing Marialana Kinter for her candidacy in U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 7th district even though I'm not a resident of the district at all, with the expectation that she will be one of competent politicians who will help address enshittification.

Finally, should Roblox decides to back down and make full apologies, I suggest that the corporation is to donate ample sum of money to child protection and welfare causes, humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and programs to develop medicines to cure Long COVID.
