Firefly's Journey to Adulting
Entry 1
Hi there!
With T-minus 1 week until my departure from my hometown, moving away from everyone I know (three whole friends), and with zero idea how to navigate University and adult life, I've decided to start a figure-shit-out blog, taking anyone interested along with me.
Mostly because I prefer writing over video editing, I've chosen Spacehey as my method of record-keeping for this extremely daunting next phase of my life. (I've also heard being 19 is absolutely hellish for most, so I feel I need witnesses if I do end up downward spiraling.)
Since I don't want this Blog to become a second journal, (yes, I journal and yes, you should too) it shouldn't be super heavy/hard to read or overly emotional.
I mostly want to document things I did/didn't expect over my first year by myself, and maybe be helpful to future teens going through similar things. I'll write about any obstacles I face and how I deal with them, as well as positive revelations I have while exploring this new phase of my life.
