Report Blog Entry
Hello everyone! In the last few days i was working on a website. it's not 100% finished yet, I'm still working on it but i have decided to release the alpha version of it online. you can go to http://watchtube.mooo.com to find it. Its inspired from youtube from the late 2000s so i thought it fits well on here :D
anyone is welcome to make an account and post some videos on there. in the future I will add likes, comments, subscriptions and more. for now i wanted to release a smaller version just to see if it's worth to keep working on it or scrap the idea. also, a rules page is incomming in the next few days! So look out what you post or you might get your video taken down :)
anyone is welcome to tell me what they think about the website and also, leave me recomandations what you want to see later on being added! see you on there guys! Just remember this is more of a test and it's very rough... so... yeah... don't get your hopes up(I'm just a 17 year old boy who made this in his room in not even a week..) :)
one last thing: PLEASE DONT START HATING BECAUSE GOOGLE SAYS "not secure"... I'm using free hosting and that's why. I promise i am taking care as much as I can about the data, and also i am not collecting ANY data. i'm doing my best to make a fun place in the internet for people to goof around. and passwords are encrypted(but i still recomand to use a different password on here, one you've never used before. and that's a thing for any site not just mine :P )
and yeah... last time i posted something like this on reddit (another site of mine), people freaked out because of that warning. this is just a website made for fun, nothing serious. but still, take care what informations you do put on the website. try not to say personal stuff in videos, keep the place friendly and ANYONE IS WELCOME! CYA!

I believe there can be improvements to design. But this Website could have some potential.

Dude, I just want to tell you that I'm extremely happy that you took it upon yourself to make a copy of pre-2013 YouTube. I have been wanting something like that to exist for a long time as it was my only social media before 2011 and I have extremely powerful memories of it. I genuinely hope this works out well for you and the rest of the world. And especially if it does, I'll rank you alongside Pavel Durov as my tech idol.
hehe thanks. this isn't really a youtube pre-2013, its more of my own thing, i took inspiration from old youtube in the alpha when i had no idea how to make the website look. but slowly im making it more and more of my own thing and less of a youtube clone

alright there should be a upload button on the top right of the screen. there it takes you to the upload page. hopefully it works

If it tells you wrong password or something like that, then you might have spelled something wrong. Of it seems like everything is fine but youre not logged in, try another web browser? Personally I've tried Firefox and safari. I had no problems in Firefox but I couldn't log in on safari
