sometimes when i speak about men in general there's always some random guy saying that is not all men. if you're a man and you come here to just disagree with me saying that "they're not like this" "not all men are like this" just go somewhere else

okay what i was about to say is that i have noticed that men in general are not genuine. what i mean? i mean that men live in a constant performance.
I know this whole "performative men" joke is all around now, but have we thought of how actual performative men are?
I say this because they rarely do something that's an actual manifest of their souls. They're always trying to fit in, to demonstrate domination or to seek some sort of attention.
Before someone says that us women do it too, I have to disagree. I know the stereotype is that women are fake, are less genuine or lack of personality. But I've noticed the contrary, I feel that women DO have more personality, we are more likely to express ourselves in a more genuine way. But why are men constantly changing masks according to who they're talking to and who they want to impress?????

From what I understand as a man, it’s mostly a thing revolving around hormones. Whenever a guy sees an attractive lady they usually dedicate themselves to putting on this whole act into wooing the girl into being with them in hopes to just like… get in their pants. There’s no better way to really say this besides just stating that, but I feel the things that these guys aren’t getting is that to a lady, it’s not attractive at all. From what I know when talking to girls, they are way more into a guy that has something he is actually REALLY passionate about because then they’ll wanna get to know why they’re so into whatever they’re into in the first place which could build a genuine bond between the two opposed to some dude who only just recently got into whatever subculture or whatever scene they’ve heard about that they know woman are really into.
All in all I think it’s kinda sad and gives us guys a bad look really when we are pouring our hearts into something we really like, only to be casted aside because all these posers are doing it solely for the female gaze :/ Hope this answers your question though have a nice day!!! :D
