my mom’s quitting smoking!!!

i’m so happy bc she’s been addicted to cigs since she was like a teenager and it’s a big issue bc it’s harming her body and i always read the back of the cig packages and see the ppl w like lung cancer and stuff and get rlly scared that that could be her one day

and cigs are also really freaking expensive (she said she spends like $800 on them a month i think or like smth in the higher hundreds idk) so this will be good for the family too :))

she’s tried quitting like a lot. and obviously it never stuck.  but this time she’s doing it using some kind of medication which is used to help quit smoking, and it basically zaps ur desire to smoke and she says it’s actually working
