This one was definitely a lot to take in. There is so much going on in this book that it can be hard to keep up with the developing story and the vast amount of setup for future books. Not quite as good as the last 2 books but still better than the first few. The interaction with between all the major characters were great and there were a lot of great moments, from the intense to the slower bits. I am excited for the next book, but I’m also glad to be done with DCC for a little bit. Especially while I try to wrap my head around everything that happened in this book.

I do love how much character development has take place over this series. There are many other stories in all kinds of media that seem afraid to evolve its cast beyond how they started. I just know this is going to get crazier before it mellows down
