Bothering

Little something I wrote the other day,,, decided why not post it here!! Uhrm this is OC lore related so it probably doesnt make much sense mb

The door slammed and her bag thrown aside. She stared into broken shards of her vanity mirror. She scowled.

"You're everywhere I go," she said, "and I can never seem to get rid of you. When will you stop bothering me?"

Her reflection imitated the very movement of her lips, her very posture, her very expression. She sighed. For some reason she expected a response. She scoffed and turned.

"You are me, for I am you, Asphodel." the mirror spoke. She froze and glared at the shards; her reflection staring back at her, but only her reflection was smiling. "I am everywhere you can see yourself. It is nature, who am I to defy?"

Asphodel scowled. "Do not test me, Elysium." she slammed her hands on the vanity, finger pointing at the mirror.

The reflection grinned, pointing back at her. "And what are you to do if I continue to 'test' you? Are you to break my mirror again?"

She hesitated. It was tempting, but she knew she could not. It will only make things worse.

She grunted, throwing a nearby pencil at the mirror. The reflection threw one back, though the two pencils only colided on the surface of the glass, and dropped down. Asphodel scowled at her reflection, and her mirror Elysium only smiled back with it's head high.

Asphodel sighed. "Why must you pester me? Can you not leave me alone?"

Elysium its tongue. "I would if I could. Unfortunately shadows don't wander far from the body."
