Sooo i like reading fanfics on ao3 and I want to write some fanfics too but i heard about the ao3 curse on the internet... i searched about it and i think its pretty convincing. Some people catch pretty serious diseases or get in some trouble with money... i even heard that some people's parents divorced after they started writing fanfics. So i know its kinda silly but still Im scared of it, can someone who is an ao3 author please tell me if its real or not???

The thing about the ao3 author's curse is that no matter what hardships they go through they always get over them to update their fics. Don't worry too much, it's just a silly meme :)

maybe it seems like a curse since many writers tend to write more when they are struggling in life
