guys i was literally just listening to Tyler the creator on autoplay and i accidentally made a BOMB ASS TRANSITION DAMN
DAWG I LITERALLY THOUGHT I WAS LISTENING TOÂ LIKE HIM THE DELUXE VERSIONÂ LIKE????
please please PLEASEEE LISTEN TO THIS TRANSITION DAMN
dont get greedy yall listen to Tylers entire song first for the OPTIMUM experience
Like him ends with Tylers mom sayingÂ
"It was my fault, not yours, not his, it was my fault, I'm sorry.........just, you know, forgive me"
dude this ending line is so huge and prolly makes like him his deepest workÂ
The buildup near the end of the song is abruptly cut and followed up by Miss Smith admitting that Tylers father always wanted to be there for him, that he never abandoned him before ending it with her asking for forgiveness. This COMPLETELY changes how you listen to this song and the rest of his discography
YOU GOTTA UNDERSTAND IF U LISTEN TO TYLERS EARLIER WORKS THE GUY WAS SOOO BRUTAL (his songs are rlly good omg i vomited the first time i listened to she from the goblin album out of sheer disgust but its my favorite now 🎀)
ANYWAY Love me not (THE MUSIC VIDEO NOT THE OFFICIAL AUDIO) begins with Ravyn saying
"How did I get here?"
MY GUY Ravyns voice here makes it seem like we're reflecting back to Miss Smiths younger self CUZ YOU REMEMBER IN THE ENDING LINE OF LIKE HIM MISS SMITH ALSO SAYS
"And I'm sorry I was young but he's always wanted to be a father to you so I, I fucked up and I take ownership of that"Â
DUDE I genuinely thought it was part of the song from how well it fit
Are these songs even similar?
No
Do I still think its the greatest transition I ever stumbled upon and Ravyn and Tyler should collab?
YESYEYSEYSSEYSSSS PLEASEEEEEE
Anyway check out this transition ehe <3
