i need desperate help from anyone who can give me tips on what to do! my mom recently tried to end her life because of the stress shes under, i have also recently tried to end my life related to other things i will not get into online. my mom lost her job because she was at the mental hospital with me. her boss didnt have the patients and she never got the chance. the country i live in is very racist when it comes to looking for jobs, my mom, who has an american family name, and i who has an icelandic last name, which is obvious since it always ends in 'dóttir' 'son' or 'bur'. so its easy to catch an icelander, but my mom, i will not say her name, doesnt have that. so people reject her all the time just because shes not icelandic. she has lived here for over 20 years, she has an icelandic social security nr. she has an icelandic passport and about 6 years ago she became a legal ctizen. it shoukd not be hard to get a job as a citizen. shes been struggling for so long. and we are about to get evicted. we will be homeless and i dont want to ask for peoples money. i am starting school soon and cant really get a job since school hours are very weird. i would not be able to make a lot of money just off weekends, so i cant really help my mother at all. i am afraid she will successfully kill herself because she is very dear to me. i could not imagine my life without her, i am only 16 and need my mom. shes the only one who helps me, and understands me. i really need help i reallu dont know what to do. we wont have a place to stay next month and its very scary to think about that. can anyone please help me with this problem?

also, if theres churches nearby, maybe they could help, too. im really sorry for not having solid advice, so i ask you to post this again tomorrow, maybe someone with more knowledge can help you better. again, i am praying for you all, as this is the best i can do right now. i really, really hope things turn well for you. may Jesus bless your hearts, your ways and your paths, may you both overcome this struggle, may everything go well for you.

Options:
1. There are shelters for women, at least in the USA.
2. Cheap used Cars/vans are much cheaper to live in than apartments/houses. Often you can park in certain areas for free, or maybe even at a business that you are employed at for the world's easiest commute. Even better if you work at a grocery store/supermarket which prevents you having to burn fuel to go somewhere.
The winter is harder, you will likely need blankets/insulation to keep warm, and a good coat.
3. It is possible to be employed and be in school, it's called a part time job. You just tell them you can't work certain hours and explain your situation, if you are willing to work hard and try your best i'm sure you will be given a chance if you ask enough people.
4. You could always drop out of school, and work a job then learn the things from school online, or things you think are useful. At the end of the day it's not the piece of paper that matters, it's how capable you are as an individual to provide value to others. No one really cares if you know the quadratic formula by heart, as long as you can correctly solve a problem. Really your options are limitless, you are really young, have a ton of neuroplasticity and can learn basically any skill you wish, pretty much from anywhere at anytime thanks to the internet. YOU just have to be persistent and not give up.
5. Your other post says you got into art college? I guess that means you might be able to just "live" on campus, just need to find a place to shower. You could just be working on art in different common areas and you'll blend right in. You just have to make sure you keep up on your hygene and you could steadily make friends, stay over at their dorms, make the right connections, and you could use the showers on campus.
If you need art supply money see if you can mow a lawn, shovel a driveway, rake some leaves, ask for art supplies in exchange for a commission from someone irl. Then use your supplies to make more art then sell that art online or to people irl while also offering comission work.
Also a 50lb bag of rice is like 30-40$ and has enough calories for you for an entire month! Very cheap way of eating! 50lb bag of flour is about the same, you can bake your own bread with a little fire or even some cardboard and aluminum foil to reflect/focus the sunlight can work to bake bread. (Look up solar oven plans.) You really just need flour water, and salt.
The MOST important thing above all, and anything you will ever read in your life, is to ALWAYS tell yourself how you CAN; and not how you can't.
