my second day of school as a junior...! (social interaction episode)

i posted about my first day yesterday. i didnt plan on posting again but i had interesting things happen so i wanted to lol

i barely know anyone at this school except for one guy i've been going to HS with for two years already. we met at our old highschool and have been friendly for 2 years. he's an ok guy but doesn't really seems like he cares about me. i think he just keeps me around because he knows i wont leave 

anyways, i was sitting with him and his friends (ig?? idk he just met all these people) when he randomly just got up and started talking about eating off campus. he then gathered everyone at the table, EXLUDING ME, and they all left with no further explanation or even a goodbye?? so i basically got abandoned by people i dont even know at lunch ... 💔 

after that i felt like shit because like.... what the fuck .... so i just went and sat outside. we have like picnic tables and benches outside so i just wanted to sit and people watch. 

after sitting for a little bit i'm getting up to move somewhere with more shade and a guy comes up to me and says he likes my shirt !   =͟͟͞͞(꒪ᗜ꒪‧̣̥̇) 

i dont talk to many people + im socially inept so i stuttered out a thank you and complimented his jacket. he introduced himself and so did i,, 

after that i just continued to stumble over every word i possibly could and eventually just ended it with "im gonna go sit in the shade somewhere, bye!" 

i felt so awkward and shitty because like what the fuck am i doing im so fucking weird. 

i sit outside for the rest of lunch and ponder if my life is worth living after fumbling that bad at a basic social interaction. 

i go inside towards the end of lunch and i see him. he waves at me (ᵕ—ᴗ—)  i wave back obvi

so um. did i fumble. he probably thinks im a fucking freak oh noooo .·°՞(˃ ᗝ ˂)՞°·..·°՞(˃ ᗝ ˂)՞°·.
