God saved me from being harmed in my partner's bed. There was a time I had started learning that sex before marriage was considered sin (fornication) and this upset me. I was so deeply in love with a man at the time. I thought to myself, "He said he isn't ready for marriage. If I stop having sex, he will certainly just leave me." And so, I began praying to God for help. The bible verse that says to flee fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) would replay in my mind over and over, and I was so confused.

One night, I finally decided to just run. I was ready to repent. I sat up in the bed, preparing myself mentally to gather all of my belongings, and leave my partner as quietly as I could. My partner was fast asleep next to me, but suddenly started to tense up in his sleep. He was laying on his back, so I could see his face and that he was grimacing. He was shaking and his hands were clenching like he was struggling. He didn't wake up right away, but after I shook his shoulders for a while, he was finally able to snap out of it. He looked up at me with eyes full of terror. And I immediately asked, "You were shaking and acting strange. Are you okay?" ... He refused to speak to me. I asked him again three more times and he finally said, "I was sleeping and all of a sudden I got sleep paralysis, and a voice kept yelling at me to.. Turn around and choke you. He continued, "Something was trying to take control of my body and the shaking that you saw was me trying to stop it. It was trying to force me to turn and strangle you."

I kept quiet, waited for him to fall back asleep, AND THEN I LEFT FOR GOOD. A demon tried to kill me the night I decided to trust in Lord Jesus and repent, by wrestling to take control of my ex lover's body through sleep paralysis. He was a military man and I wouldn't have stood a chance. The answer to my prayer, when I asked God for clarification on whether or not Christians truly weren't supposed to be fornicating came as a literal boost OUT OF THE DOOR. Bro, scientists are wrong, sleep paralysis is absolutely demonic!
