we're asking because the first track to our next EP has this sort of opening. It starts out extremely chill and then it suddenly explodes so we wanted to know if that's cool or nah :P
Do y'all fw melodic intros to anticlimatically aggressive songs???

I love that kind of thing, actually!
A few examples that immediately come to mind for me are The Sadness Will Never End by BMTH, Re-Emerge/The Takeoff by Defences, A Line in the Sand by Linkin Park, and You Don't Remember Our House Near the Ocean by Save Us From the Archon.
