I really didn't expect digital drawing to be so difficult... that's why my drawing must have turned out a little weird. Does anyone with experience have any tips on how I could improve?Β

or am I being cruel to myself and is it okay for a beginner?

THIS IS SO GOOD !!!!! i can't believe you're a beginner tbh oh my gawd !!
i've been a digital artist for ~6 years now and i'm really proud of my art. i'm not the best but i enjoy doing it and i get complimented on my style quite often !
here's a quick crash course on what i'd change if you were aiming for realism (which you don't have to!!!!!)
my advice to you for this specific piece is anatomy. this is an incredible start, but there's a few things that are really obvious to me.
the shoulder is really pointy and thin at the top, it should be the same width as the upper arm the whole way through. to fix this, i'd suggest making the back line of her arm diagonal-ish rather than straight. and maybe curve the top of the shoulder a little more (bring the end of it up a bit and the front of it a little down)
the hands are GREAT. honestly better than i can do without a reference. but they're too different in size, maybe a little on the small end. the one in the back is smaller. to fix, just make it a little bigger ! :-)
my last critique for the anatomy is the face. you've done really well with the details on the eyes !!! i love it !!
my absolute favourite way to remember facial proportions : the top of the ear is in line with the bottom of the eyebrows/top of the eyelids. the bottom of the nose is in line with the bottom of the ear. all you need to do to fix it is bring the nose up so that its in line with the bottom of the ear (bring the mouth up while ur at it too! the distance between the nose and mouth is perfect.) the mouth is also ever so slightly off center :-) move it just a liiiiittle bit away from the tree's direction.
the hair positioning is honestly perfect. drawing each individual strand can sometimes make it look a little clustered, but honestly here i think it looks really good !! you could try drawing it a bit more chunky, but that's up to your preference! maybe add a few strands of hair highlight if you'd like, i love to do it.
as for the art itself !! this is a personal preference, but when i'm doing lineart, i like to keep everything the same. if you outline the body, it looks good if you outline the hair. i like that you've used coloured lineart, it makes the piece a lot brighter! try using grey instead of black for the skin outline and see if it looks a bit more consistent !
also, i suggest using pinterest for references, especially with things like the umbrella.
finally, the background ! i can't give much advice because i'm not good at drawing them. especially not landscapes. but i like the tree! try to get that fluffy consistency around the tree on the inside too, instead of blending it ! that way it'll look like real leaves on the inside.
all in all YOU HAVE DONE AMAZING !!!! this is thousands of times better than the stuff i started out with, your style is great, the colours are nice, you clearly know what you're doing !!
but as someone else said --- the most important part of art is fun. if you have fun drawing like this, just keep doing it ! it doesn't actually matter if the anatomy is off. you don't have to consistently shade or colour or draw detailed backgrounds. art is meant to be enjoyable and accessible to everyone. if this is how you enjoy it, keep at it! but if you'd have fun learning anatomy, do that too! it's really hard but it pays off in the end. my arts gotten a lot better since i learnt anatomy.
ALSO !!! it's great that you've added one but please make your signature a bit bigger or bring it closer to the woman ! it'd be such a shame if someone cropped it out and stole your art. it's so pretty !!
here's some of my art, in case you were curious :-) https://artfight.net/character/6885720.klaus-ormr-main
oh ALSO !! if you're using a computer and digital art pad, i suggest krita !!!!! but i don't suggest krita if you're on mobile (tablet/ipad/phone/etc) because it's really bad on mobile.

Oh my God, thank you so much for explaining in such detail the points I could improve! I'll write everything down. The most interesting thing is that when I searched to understand better on YouTube, most of the things I saw that could be improved were what you and others commented on, so I hope I'm learning correctly. I really appreciate that you really analyzed and explained it to me. Out of curiosity, I draw on a tablet! I used my finger for this art, but I've already ordered a pen (a simple one, but it's just to start). I will check out your art, and thank you again. I wish you all the best!

it do be gud for a beginner dw. as for tips I'd say ya need to practice nd practice, watch videos about anatomy, or about anything like shading , idk what you drew this on but for example ibis paint offers ALOT of cool brushes and ya can experiment with those too. Also , most important, have fun nd dont stress urself.
Thank you! I did it through ibis, I will study the points you mentioned better and delve deeper into them, I will not forget to have fun o(^o^)o

I think for a beginner itβs awesome! Ofc thereβs things to work on but that comes with practice. Iβve only done a little digital art and Iβve found itβs really hard especially going from traditional media, so definitely give yourself some credit!
Thank you so much, I will try to improve and also try to value what I'm learning so far! (Β΄ο½°ο½).q*ο½₯οΎοΎ
